“ Had a blast with an old flame I hadn't seen in decades! The atmosphere was upbeat and vibrant! ”
“ I have been coming to this bar for several years. Great atmosphere, great drinks. Karaoke and great bar tenders. Overall a good time. ”
“ First night in town and we were looking for something to do. It was a Tuesday so live music wasn't in the cards and we were sent here. Had the most fun ever at this bar! Karaoke at all levels followed a very drunken conga line toward the end of our night. Wouldn't have ever imagined we would request to hear the bartender to more Bush but it happened. ”
“ Awesome karaoke every single night! Wouldn't want to walk around outside by myself, though. Drinks and casino action right by The Row ”
“ Site o memorable karaoke nights in Reno. I saw my first pair of fakes here. She thought she was cute, flashing the KJ for cutsies. Open until 4 am, like most of Reno, this place is fun, and has a great bourbon selection, but can be packed full of scum on the weekends. Let me weave you a little story, bear with me. It's a bummer to see so many recent negative reviews, because in the wee hours of the morning during a fateful bachelorette party a few years back the closing bartenders who worked here saved a group of drunk girls from peril. I'm being completely serious. This was one of the worst nights I've had out on the town in any town (but one of the best nights ever for the bride so we did our duty), and I am forever indebted to this place for helping me and another friend extract three slimy hangers on from following us back to our hotel, one of which had a wandering hand that found its way onto my right you know what while a group of us were dancing. Hopefully one day I'll be able to come back in and say thank you properly. The clientele were not the greatest, but this was a safe space kind of bar that gave a crap about the comfort of its female guests. The difficult part was that some of our group were having a fun time flirting, and my attempts to share what the one guy had done to me and the names he called me for my reaction to him were not the greatest as I was still recovering. Maybe you know how that feels? It sucks. The general consensus however was that they weren't coming with us when we left, and the one I had trouble with was not happy about it. With an incapacitated bride and a couple others that were a little too schnockered to make good choices, another sober(ish) friend and I were able to let the bar know we needed to get back to our hotel without the three following us back, which they seemed determined to do even after being told No repeatedly. The bartenders shooed these three out and made sure they left, then escorted us to our Uber outside. Seriously, thank you West Second St. Bar. I'm hesitant to come back and relive that night, but I would to thank you guys if you're still around. ”
